Testimonials

Here are some things our parents had to say about our programs. If you have worked with us and would like to share your experience, please send us your thoughts.

"DCAT and Justin were invaluable guides to the inscrutable world of high-academic baseball recruiting. Justin worked with our son to focus his targets, create his profile and videos, respectfully reach-out to coaches and navigate their interest. As parents, Justin cut through the marketing noise to highlight which showcases were most productive given our son's profile. Finally, the COVID pandemic and commensurate NCAA expanded black-out periods, eligibility changes and transfer portal activities disrupted the recruiting process in an unprecedented manner. Justin never pretended that he could predict what was going to happen but provided suggestions and comfort as recruiting screeched to a hard stop and then haltingly resumed. Our son is thrilled with where he is going to college and play baseball. It was not a straight or conventional journey (our son even took a gap year between high school and college in order to develop and recruit) - but we never felt alone on it thanks to Justin. And the final result is wonderful."

Joelle Kaufman, parent of Taylor, attending Hamilton College
"Justin Cronk has been an unbelievable mentor to our son Zach, from a personal, academic and athletic development standpoint. Coach Cronk did not hold back offering candid advice to Zach in getting him focused on improving his agility, speed and entire body look to supplement his existing skill base as a lefty/lefty 1st baseman, and become more attractive to college coaches (which had an important secondary benefit of his development of fantastic life skills around aerobic/core/strength training and good nutrition, ultimately skyrocketing his personal confidence). This was only the beginning of a relationship with Coach Cronk two years ago that saw direct involvement and aid in Zach figuring out the colleges on his short list, understanding and appreciating the outreach program and communications approach that he would need to initiate to the coaches at these target schools to both attract and show interest, and ultimately how to put his best foot forward on the field, in the classroom and as a person. Make no mistake, Coach Cronk requires all his advisees to invest the time to do their own hard work and college/baseball program research, but he provides the tools and guidance to make the process as efficient as possible, while stacking the odds as much as possible in the student-athlete's favor. My wife Karen and I found the accountability that Zach took in the process critical to his ability to make important decisions on the school and program best suited to him at the end of the day."

Howard Loewenberg, parent of Zach - attending Washington & Lee
"I've been a college professor and sport psychology consultant specializing in assisting players (youth through professional levels) in mastering mental skills for optimal performance for over twenty years. During that time I've had the opportunity to work with countless players and coaches on the field, in camps or other various settings. Without a doubt I can say that Justin Cronk as the DCAT leader and his first-class advisory team represents what excellence for player success on the field and in the classroom is truly all about. Look no further than this system if you are serious about personal and team success."

John Paul Muczko, Ph.D, College professor, Sport Psychology Certified Consultant
"We could not be more pleased with the outcome of our son's college search under the guidance of DCAT. It really helped that our son had someone to talked to whose advice he trusted wholeheartedly. You really know your stuff, and you always put our son's best interest first. Our son deserves credit for putting a lot of work into his academics and into baseball, but it was DCAT that knew how to launch our son to the next level- playing baseball at his #1 choice college. Thank you!"

"Thanks for all your hard work last week with the DiamondCats National Team. You and your team of coaches did a fabulous job. To me, you guys did everything right and you epitomized what it means to be a baseball coach. You assembled a great group of kids, put them in position to be successful and coached them perfectly. As easy as you made it all seem, you just do not see coaching excellence exhibited very often. You cared about each and every kid. You believed in them and made them all feel very special. You are truly gifted. I wish there were more coaches just like you guys. Thanks again."

Todd Reid, parent of player on USA DiamondCats team
"Justin Cronk and DCAT provided a thorough, organized approach addressing every detail in the selection process: academic, athletic, motivational and most importantly a valuable insight into different schools, coaches and recruiting. His communication is outstanding; clear, concise and honest in terms of evaluating ability and schools with the proper ‘fit’ to our goals. With Justin ‘in our corner’ we had multiple opportunities at amazing schools presented to us. Most important is his unmatched passion for baseball and helping scholar-athletes to succeed at the next level."

Mike Solomon, parent of Thomas, attended Johns Hopkins University
"My dad and I were completely clueless with what to do and how to handle the recruiting process before DCAT entered the picture. Your honesty, objectivity and advice were essential to my success and I'm sure many of the opportunities I had would not have been there without your help".

Jack, attended Davidson College
"In a process full of hearsay, murkiness, and confusion, DCAT provides provides clarity and an indispensable helping hand. From offering an unbiased assessment of a player's skill level to matching that skill level to a variety of schools, the DCAT team is a voice of reason."

Mark Geenen, parent of Andrew, attended Cornell
"DCAT is very organized and provided detailed step-by step instructions for our son. The directors were there throughout the entire process, doing research, answering questions, and giving constant advice".

Mike Pikos, parent of Tony, attended Rhodes College
"The DCAT empowered me with the tools necessary to play baseball in college - both in terms of my athletic ability and creating a strong admissions profile. It was invaluable having an advisor who was truly "in my corner" during the recruiting process".

Clay Bartlett, attended Columbia University
"Conor's specific wants and needs didn't easily match with many colleges, making this a more difficult process than most, I imagine. However, DCAT's infinite patience and limitless guidance helped create an awesome match with all of the key elements falling into place".

Patti, mother of Conor Baucum, attended Penn State University
